That is going to be a fine looking GLI. My son now has a
second gen Golf on my PC as a screen saver. He'll be up
for his license in a few months. Brought him up right. :thumbup:

i just found out the dash i got for the jetta is for a non adjustable steering...now now im looking at modifying mine, and if i cant im in the market for a new dash :banghead:

I sent two Golf/Jetta II's to the boneyard last year. Didn't
keep either dash. I will look for something out here in the
next couple weeks.

went to the JY today and found 2 minty fresh dash's...both were for non tilt steering though :banghead:

im starting to consider putting a rado dash in

I think I saw a photo of that conversion, one of the guys from Holland I think. That
is a very nice look. With all the time and effort you have into it I think you should
do it. 8)

i took a look at what and how its done and i think im gonna pass on the rado dash swap...i like my heater vents to actually work LOL

im basically living paycheck to paycheck with the help of my credit card right now....i do have a friend moving in and paying 900 a month for rent in october so once that happens along with the house payment being where it is supposed to be i will be golden and can pay old boy for the alternator setup he sent me (no i havent forgotten, and im very appreciative you are being so patient with me)
i also filed for the 8000 dollar new home buyer incentive i should be getting it soon (hopefully)..that will be used to pay off the credit card again and buy the extended warranty on the range rover.

why does everything hit the fan at the same time?...lol
