Jim, I like your plans for the Cabby. You'll love the way the grill spoiler looks on there, it gives it much more of an aggressive look but yet is a very subtle touch.
The duckbill is hot! and I do wish at times that mine was not a clipper cabby so i could do those things to it. But I am not brave enough to start stripping and modifying her to that extent so I live vicariously through other people's Bunnies

Have you thought about which wheels you are considering? Dished is the right way to go with your plans....perhaps tires stretched just a little, and of course you'd need to have just a little poke, too :D

See? there I go again, living through your car. Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it'll be great. Make sure you take plenty of progress pics, you wont regret it!!

LOL! Thats true, I am still searching for a set of euro's, but this will do for now. Besides, it was fun and dirty. :D h

Hey Kuklaki, Yes I totally plan on doing this cabby right. She deserves it! I had a rice rocket when I was younger and did all of that interior spray painting and junk that kids do. But not this car. I already told my wife that I would like to eventually put it in shows.
I was going to go for a set of big bumpers but then decided to go strictly euro.

As for rims.....man, I cannot decide. I am definately going for deep dish, thats a no brainer. But which ones? and for what price....?
I was looking at the RH cups from http://www.tunershop.com/ or the ATS cups and Schmidt monolines. But they are all a pretty penny.

I am totally pumped about this car and am finding a new happiness in my life.
Since my wife bought me a new 4.5m pixle digi for X-mas, I will be taking crazy pics. (aside from the cache of pics I alread have of my cabby... 8) )

Kuklaki, I will be happy to be your guinea pig for cabby mods. You just tell me what you want to do to my car and send me the appropriate amount of cash. I won't even charge you labor. HeHe!

LOL. Niiice. Well, I almost took you up on your offer...until I got some good news today. Since my Cabby is nearly finished, I've lined up another one to play with. The current driver only wants it for this summer, after that she will sell it to me.
It came off our wholesale lot-the original owner traded it in. It's a Wolfie, burgundy, tan leather interior.....
So old skool it can go, and we can have his-n-hers Cabbies :D

I have some more updated pics, taken 5/19/05. Just gave'er a wash and wanted to snap some pics. 8)

Finally got my grill spoiler.

Also, hated the fact of some very important gauges being way below driving eye level. So I did a swap with the 2 gauge cluster and my stereo.

I got some abs plastic and shaped a new face plate, drilled some holes, fastened it and vwala! Some more mods needed to get a secure stereo fit.

Very cool man, very cool. Not a bad idea on the guage/radio swap either. That might have to be one of the future mods for the wifes cabby when she's ready to remove the "as stock as possible" restriction from her car.
