Well, yesterday I took care of replacing the spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor on the new cabby. I used the bosch platinum 4's, though I wish they would make those for the rocco, but they don't.
So today I tackled the shifter bushings as 1st gear was kind of a hit or miss thing. Actually, it was more of a miss kinda thing, finding it was like winning the lottery as I've found that digi injection doesn't seem to like 2nd gear takeoffs. I little ping and the knock sensor retards the timing and the damn car wants to stall, which kinda sucks on the uphill takeoffs.
Anyway, changed out the bushings real quick, having to use the A2 "red" main rod bushing since I disn't feel like waiting a week for the proper bracket with correct bushing. Spent half an hour with the wifes help getting the damn linkage alinged (I'd rather sit on my nutz then aling these damn things). Dropped the car back on the ground and off she goes, all gears present and accounted for.
That leaves only one major issue to be fixed which is the drivers side power window. Need to replace the regulator so that the damn thing goes both ways instead of just down.
So that was my day pretty much. Might see about giving the silver beast some attention tomorrow when I get home from work. I'm starting to think that maybe, just maybe when I replaced the timing belt, she slipped a tooth and I didn't catch it. Could I be that lucky?

Glad to see that you have all the gears......
The power widoe don't go all the way down? or partial....
The motor si bi-direction, and gets the signal from the ECU...
I would check the wiring feeding from the door to the frame for continuity, or check voltages.....
Also if the window is out of adjustment it can cause a bind with trips the breaker for the window and stops the motor...
I know I had to adjust the poo outta my drivers winder...
I woudl check the voltage on the motor. you are aware that only one window at a time can roll either up or down?

I have this issue sometimes... Bought the car and that day i lost reverse, 1st and 2nd gears... I was mad... But the part was like $5 and takes 5 mins to cange... I have the new part waining to go in the dub but the last time we poped the link back on... it still has not popped off again... Its been like a month already... It used to pop off everyday and then the day i picked up the new link it stopped popping off.... Hm..... oh well... again I wait... and I drive her hard sometimes... but I cant get the thing to pop off...
Tip...
it is so easy to change the link without lifting the car... just reach down into a cold engine bay and your good...
