As I was turning on to McGinnis rd on the way home I got behind a nice 2door Forest Green 81 Rabbit Diesel, Tan interior.... Made me miss mine.
We chatted at a light.
Nice way to end a day.

I feel bad when I see cars which are the same as my previous. I hope I can keep them all.

I never see a 72 Rover 3500S anywhere but on Monte Python's 'Holy Grail'.ennaamalone wrote:I feel bad when I see cars which are the same as my previous. I hope I can keep them all.
I never see a Mg Midget any more.
I don't care about my toyotas, caravans, buicks, Pissan Nathfinders, honders, saturns,
But I have seen a 59 Bug-Eyed Sprite at Pepboys about 2 years ago, it wasn't stock, it had the 1298 motor in it.
As much as Loved to Hate and Hated to love my 81 diesel rabbit, after 20 years of ownership, I was not sad to see it go....
but it still got 35mpg....
