rough idle and dies
I bought this car for $100 a couple of years ago. I have recently been able to invest some time in it again. It starts easily and runs well for about a minute. After this it starts idle roughly and eventually die. I have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. In addition I have cleaned the injectors and replaced one. Please advise.

What year? We need to know if it's a CIS or Digifant car to be much help.
The first thing I would look for is vacuum leaks.

sorry, I just realized I posted this in the wrong section. I'm pretty sure it's a CIS, I'll have to check that out tomorrow.

Second is to replace the fuel pump relay, or at least jumper it out.gull wrote:What year? We need to know if it's a CIS or Digifant car to be much help.

I would also try disconnecting the O2 sensor temporarily. It may be dying when it goes into closed loop. I once had that problem due to shorted O2 sensor wiring -- took me forever to find.
