Hello Cabby Girl and welcome to TRF.

I too have an '87 Cabby and it has served me well for all the years I've owned it.

I see you don't have very good "Top Down Weather" right now, it's the same here in Alberta.

but wait till spring, you will love it.

Welcome to the forum Cabby Girl. We don't have the best top down weather as of right know in Maine either,
but good things are to come once spring arrives. So whats the story behind your Cabby? i.e. how/why did you
get it and what are your plans for it? Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Cabby ownership.

Hello! Sorry I haven't replied to your post, I haven't been on here in a while. I actually picked up this Cabby from my boyfriend's brother-in-law. I just got my 01 Ford Mustang repossessed and I was in serious need of transportation. It sucks when you have only 1 vehicle around the house, mind you - we have 7 - which all but now 2 are broke (I just got my Cabby fixed today, bad ignition switch)! I have a lot of plans for it, it's in pretty rough condition, but eventually, when I have the funds to do it - I want to paint it Ketchme Kopper (is how I believe it's spelled) which is from House of Kolors. I want to slap a new white top on it, considering mines in pretty knarly condition. I would love to put a body kit on it, dual exhaust, and I'd like to lower it and put knew wheels and tires on it. I have big dreams for my little Cabby! I think I'm going to name her Missy. I'm installing my new stereo tomorrow, which is going to be a pain in the butt, but all should go well! That's the story of my Cabby. I hope you love the book. =)
