im pretty sure i found the pulleys i need at the junkyard...too bad i didnt bring the right size allen wrench to take them off...i'll get them suckers in the morning...and i hope it works

also....does anyone know if any other coolant flanges will work...my stock one is hitting the serp belt tensioner spring

i need one that points more to the right and possible has the bottome tube orientated at an angle away from the alternator mount

That coolant flange! Now I understand, I was stuck on the thermostat flange. :oops:

The early models had an aluminum flange that was shaped a little differently. Maybe try
one from a cabby also, the 90-93 have one there with switches in it but they can be
blocked off.
91 Cabriolet, red w/white

i looked at a couple cabbys at the junkyard, but their flanges were totally different...any idea what year range you are thinking of? the ones i looked at were 86 and older

looks like it bends to the right rather then left. If thats the case, it should do the trick

Earlier aluminum flange was like 80-83, may not be thinking cabby either. Might only have been 75-79 or something.

I hear ya man. I'm trying to fogure out how to fix the jetta, finish tweaking the rocco and get several other projects done before I have no job and even less $$ then what I have now, lol.

house crap is situated...so i am resuming work on the jetta.

i just ordered the coolant flange from TTTuning...
i used my friends lather to mill down the crank pulley...so now its just a matter of putting it all together and mounting the radiator...i could feasably have the jetta running in 2 weekends

No I never laugh at other misfortunes...... specially car related ones... But I would laugh my ass off if I saw you get hit in the "nards" by a swinging piece of engine that got away..... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
