OK, so my daughter is doing a three month internship at the farm sanctuary outside of Watkins Glenn, NY. The thing is, she is doing it from Jan. thru March and as the cabby is her daily driver, I did not want to expose it to those cold, snowy, salty conditions. So a couple weeks ago I was driving by the local jy and saw something red stareing at me from the just aquired, save me line. A 1999 Red Jetta IV. The owner of the jy said that it was an abandoned vehicle, (owner was arrested for drugs and never claimed vehicle from tow yard) I was told that I could have it, as is, cheap. (cheap is my favorite price) So, here are some pics, as is, the way it was delivered to the house:
