I only have an 8 Gal. compressor. But the idea is the same as if I had a bigger one.
Here is the setup
I have a Quick Disconnect (QD) on the compressor where the yellow hose attaches. That way I can move the compressor to somwhere else or, connect a bigger compressor.
The yellow hose (actually there are two) have a filter to help keep moisture out of the tools.
Here is the reel. I bought it for 1/2 price when it was on sale about $30 Cdn (last year).
I used four carrage bolts to mount it to the work bench.
Finally I connected a QD to the end of the 50 ft. blue hose on the reel and on the 25 ft. black hose that came with the compressor.
All and all, I can reach 75 feet from the compressor no problem, and if I need the compressor in the back (like I did last summer when guy next door and I built a new fence, it was just a matter of disconnecting the compressor and the black hose.
