and the white one aint a mk3
its a mk4 gti 20vt
been a member on the mk1 forum for a few yrs now,not a bad site,loads of info,they dont seem to like modding the mk1 which is shame

forgot to add,audi tt heated half leather and half alcantara seats goin in the cabrio soon,bought them for the mk4 but i,m gonna put em in the cabrio

hi all

not been on here for a long time!!
been busy setting up my own forum

anyway the mk1 is off the road and in bits
decided to make it show worthy

16v out of a corrado now in place,and now on coilovers so it can go as low as possible 8)

i,ll keep posting updates now ive got time

not much to update on :(

sold my mk4 golf so i can finish the mk1!
i,m picking up a set of twin dellorto 45,s this weekend so i,ll post some pics up soon

hoping for around 170bhp at the flywheel,nothing amazing but should be fun
have been told i should get more bhp but we,ll see

Keep plugging away at it, it should be awesome when finished. Sorry you had to unload the MKIV though. Parting with a dub of any generation can't be easy. :cry:

selling the mk4 broke my heart :cry:

had it a few yrs,won a couple of trophys and had it mag featured 8)

replaced it with a mk2 so its not all bad
anyway the mk1 means more to me than anything!!

i,ll post pics of the smoothed rocker cover later :D

carbs now fitted but still not running :banghead:

having wiring problems but now i have the wiring diagram so should be running soon
