93 cabriolet A1 websites
Well I did get the 93 cab and it is sweet.
right know I am just really going over it with a fine tooth comb. The Guy before me put some really " not so nice decals and mouldings on it.
I was wondering if anybody has any good websites to pick up some after market parts for an A1/mk1 cabrio. I have been looking and have not been very succsesfull.
I just ordered some TSW wheels and tires and am looking for some other engine mods that I can do to it.
Any help or remarks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

'79 through '93 are all A1 chassis, '95 through '02 are A3.sixsracing wrote:Just being picky here I'm sure but a 93 Cabrio is not an A1/Mk1 chassis.
Congrats on the new car though.
The "Clipper Kit", aero bumper covers, side skirts, wheel well flares on A1s from '88 up fools some folks into thinking A1s are something else, they are still A1s underneath all that Tammy Faye makeup.

I stand corrected, I didn't realize that the Cabby stayed the same body style through 93'. I don't believe I have ever come in contact with any beyond 92'.
My bad.

I love the "Tammy Faye" reference to the clipper kit. Mind if I use it ocasionally?tolusina wrote: The "Clipper Kit", aero bumper covers, side skirts, wheel well flares on A1s from '88 up fools some folks into thinking A1s are something else, they are still A1s underneath all that Tammy Faye makeup.

My '92 sans clipper does now pass for an '86, lost a lot of weight removing it too.
Opposite the Tammy Faye comment, Kammy's car now has the Bo Derek in braids and wet spandex treatment, HOT!!
