Actually I'm glad you asked!

It's been quite an adventure. I've been playing with a 1.8 8V from an 83 GTI done up old skool style.

- Bored over .040" J&E Pistons
- Decked .040"
- 303 duration cam with just shy of .500 of lift. Had to spoon the lifter journals to clear the lobes!
- Ported intake with an Audi 5cyl throttle body.
- Deisel exhaust manifold bolted to a Tectronics downpipe.
- Centerforce Dual Friction cluth
- 2H (yep!) transmission with LSD
- Stage II half shafts

Got one of them four point undercarriage braces that are so popular on hte 'tex. Nice piece of kit I might add... So to stiffen up the rest a cage seems in order. I'll also be moving the HR springs and struts/shocks over from the black Cabby as well as the brakes and rear axle beam.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention the dozen rattle cans of satin black for the Stealth Fighter paint job.

Sooooo, if she doesn't grenade in the first 10 seconds I'll be unleashing the Purple Civic Eater (or as my son dubbed it "the purple block of death") on the public soon...

If you look just "above" the Scirocco, you can see the block/tranny waiting to be bolted in.

Funny you should say that because theat damn red one ought to be full! It's had everthing short of the seats and the body replaced!!!!
