Christine, William
Would you object if I placed a small TRF ad in the local VW club newsletter?
Just one of the cards I made last summer. No cost involved, I just have a very strong influence over what the editor thinks.
If it is OK I will send you a copy when I publish at the end of the month.

I certainly don't have an issue with it. I'm fairly certain the wife won't either.
Let us know what the costs are though, it's possible we might be able to chip in on it. We certainly appreciate any advertising of the forums. Wish we had more time as of late to do things with the site.
Keep us all posted CalAlta, would love to see what you come up with.

No cost,
Our newsletter is produced and delivered electronically, so the usual costs of paper, ink, envelopes and postage don't apply. The only cost is my time, and like most enthusasts, it is a labour of love.
Since I am the editor, I guess it's up to me to set advertising rates. So as far as I am concerned, clubs (I concider TRF a club) wanting to advertise web sites, forums and events, do so for free.

Wow, thanks a bunch man. I guess I should have caught the "I just have a very strong influence over what the editor thinks" line a bit better, lol.
Can't thank ya enough Sir. <insert bowing smilie here>

It shouldn't be too hard, I publish it in Adobe so William and Christine can host it easily.

Well I now have a page for back copies of our club newsletter. If you are interested in reading an issue or two, here is the link:

I am interested in setting up exchanges with other newsletters, so please feel free to pass it on.
