Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.
1 down, 1 completely stripped and polish ready (after pic was taken) and 2 more to go... oi.
all you need is aircraft stripper, plastic scraper, steel wool for the gray parts after exhausting the scraper, and some buff-lite (mild buffing polish / glaze) and a buffer... plus about 3 hours each wheel.
They look awesome......I hope you spray with clear or keep the buffer at hand.

that was a big debate... I prolly coulda got them em cleared for free at the bodyshop that we use.. (I do favors for them, they do favors for me... ) but I decided not to because it would be more work to strip the clear off again if I as unhappy with it than to polish them every now and then.
I polished the spokes on my avus wheels and had them on my jetta for a year, and on the rocco for a year and I only polished them once every couple of months and they never looked that bad between then.. the big thing is not to wash them with wheel cleaner and keep the brake dust off.
I also wax the nekked aluminum which helps protect them... plus this car might be driven once or twice a week, and it won't be out in the rain.
well... two done. one dismounted, ready to strip... one still holding up the front of the car.
if I could get the mrs to sew my headliner pieces I could get my butt in gear on the top this weekend.. even brought home an air powered staple gun.. and I found some black foam tape at the auto parts store that might be suitable to replace the stuff that was between the window seal frames and the top.. just gotta see how much it squishes. .
