Latest updates for the day:

The new Inxx hood lifts are installed

The new Canton/Mecca oil filter (Billet housing and worth every penny)

The new lids on the lights (my daughter loved this mod B-) ), makes Taz look like....well, Taz. LOL

and the video, Taz sounds much better in person, but you get the feel for the hot cam with this.

Yes yes. Please tell! I've haven't been intrigued by a set of nuts (har!

) since installing a set of captives on a Jeep's lightbar back in the 80's...great items they were...

I'll take a stab and say they're PEM products?

LOL, those are aircraft grade 12 point lock nuts. We had a whole batch of them kicking around (Dad used to scrounge stuff occasionally when he was in the airforce, I did to, but I never got any of those).

I think they used to use them on the ejection seats in the T-bird. Amazingly enough, they were an exact fit for my valve cover studs and they fit the whole WWI fighter theme perfectly.

Actually, kudos to you both, I didn't think anyone would even notice the subtle detail of the nuts. Very

Just a quick update on the whole nuts thing. I was talking with my Dad about them on the weekend as we were going through the parts tray and he reminded me that they were actually used on Jet engines. As soon as he mentioned it I remembered seeing them on F404's as well.

Some latest additions. I wanted an old school, racer's toolbox kind of look (not the standard ricer crap on the fenders), so I picked up some decals for stuff that is actually on the car (no posers here..lol) and put them on my custom rain tray panel. My Dad told me that he thought it looked "cluttered", but my daughter loved it as do I. Just wondering if maybe I'm going to far on this one...thoughts?

On another note, I finally got my eurospport lower tie bar in and installed it

The old one was a homemade POS that was beat all to hell.

I made some custom aluminum panels for my radio hole (no radio....obviously) and one to cover the HVAC controls. I figured I might as well seeing as they don't work anyways. My cam is way too nasty to produce proper vacuum and that goofy bubble thing is non-existent (I assume that's a vacuum resevoir) so..........

A close up of the cluster, I painted the upshift indicator (it is disconnected) and put a "themed" iron cross in it's place. Looks pretty cool, I think.

nice! i don't think the stickers look bad. it's not like you see them all them time.
i like the cross in the cluster, you should have painted the needles while you were in there
