Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Well, now that the Topless Bunny is parked for the winter, I thought I would get radical and start this winters project now. That way I will have it done when the nice weather returns in the spring.

Since this is the year of the interior, I have pulled the seats and the door cards.

I have encountered one small problem. How do you remove the rear seat back? Do I need to take the trim out to access the mounts the seat back rotates on?

Next step is to order the upolstry kit.

There should be little plastic clips on the seatback if I remember correctly. They are in the Hing part. I forget how you manipulate them but I'm pretty sure thats how you get the back seat out. Hrm, or am I mixing up the rocco seatback. Well, I guess they should both be the same.

There were those bayonet plastic pins at the top of my seat back, and the bottom was inserted in the lip of the frame.

Cut the top of the clips off, you can get more at napa.

As far as the hoge ties go, I used ty-wraps, They were self piercing and less of a strain. Besides I couldn't find my hog ring pliers, and they want real money for a replacement pair, so with the half the money of the pliers I bought a couple hundred wire-ties.

Gotta love what the Bently has to say
To remove the Cabriolet rear seat backrest, fold the backrest forward and then remove the two backrest mounting bolts.
No illustration.

That's what I call descriptive writing...NOT

I'll get some pictures next week end when I get more time to play.

Just push down on the back corner of the seat and there's a shoulder bolt. Remove the bolt on each side and then release the tab under the trunk lid like you would normally do to lower the seat. The whole back will come out.
The lower seat is easier. There's a pair of tabs on the front of the seat on the floor. Remove the phillips head screws and slide the seat forward about 2" to clear the tab in the back center. Lift out.

remove the seat bottom first, two phillips, then the seat back is easier to get to the screws.

There are two phillips or bolts, on the pivot points of the seat back. Fold it over and see where it pivots.

I fully meant to get at it to day. But I screwed my back yesterday so it will be a few days before I try.
