Help required sourcing part in Australia

Post by GOLFBALLS »

I saw you guys on the net and was wondering if any of you have that small black plastic insert that goes at the back of the licence plate on the rear boot lid of the golf convertible,it covers the whole indented panel and fits between both rear tail lights.....I'd buy one on Aust but they want $140 for it and wreckers will only sell me the entire boot lid with this bit att for 400 plus :( If anybody knows a good place to go that will ship to Aust please let me know  ...I'm bloody desperate for this part

I'll keep my eyes open for you, i know that there are other junkyard addicts here and it shouldnt be too hard for one of us to source one. Do post again if you manage to find one first.

Luke,

Imight be able to help here.

Our local VW shop here in Calgary, has a Cabriolet that has been in an accident that they are parting out.

The part you are looking for is in good condition.

The shop is called Concept-1 VW Werks here is a link to their site

Good Luck!
