Finding an OEM one would certainly be the best answer.

Let me check around here, see if I can find one.

If he does not find one, yyou can find them often on E-bay.
My first one was found in the early days on Yahoo auctions-there was less bidding than e-bay so I got it for $25. Sometimes you can get lucky if you are patient enough.

Ebay usually has them, if you have a 91 or newer make sure they have the cut outs for the rear shoulder belts, but any rear boot will work as I have a 90 boot on my 92.....

and they usually go for 50-75 on ebay...

New from cabrioworld runs 300..

Dont ever buy from chucks convertible parts I bought a boot from him and the snaps tore the first time I put it on as well as other problems with it, when I called him about it he replied "tuff luck" so he does not back what he sells he's just a moocher and rip off. STAY AWAY FROM CHUCKS.

Nothing beats the quality of an oem boot if you can find one.

I got mine used on eBay for $60. The snaps eventually came apart (the rivets break -- they're under a lot of stress) but they were easy to replace with ones from a fabric store. How hard it is to find a boot might depend partly on how choosy you are about color. Mine's beige, which doesn't really match the car, but I'm not picky. ;)
