Haven't heard of it and don't have a clue.

I nominate you to find out. Especially since with all that white crap up there, it would seem you have nothing better to do, lol

I found Something!

Post by CalAltaDubber »

Well I found a kit from a local hot rod shop for about the price I was expecting (most places wanted about $100 more for their kit), and I should have it this week. It's not the Kit from Spall that I was looking for (seems that Spall USA doesn't do too much business up here) but this is just what I was looking for.

The two main parts of the kit are:
The door solenoids, and
the remote control unit.

There a few more items required to do the job, like a couple of relays, a switch (or two) fuses and of course some wire.

When the job is finished, it is necessary to have some body work done to cover the holes in the door where the door handles used to be.

Since this is one of the big things for my project, I intend to document it and I will be pleased to pass it on here.

That would be great man. This is something that I've though about having done to cristines cabby, but most of the systems I've seen have been fairly flakey.

Hope your's works out the way you want it.
