New top -- what glue should I use?

Post by gull »

I'm going to be tackling a vinyl top replacement, soon. I've read several posts about it. One item I'm curious about is what kind of spray glue people are using. So far all the advice I've read has been negative -- i.e., "don't use 3M Super 77." What's worked for you folks, and where did you get it?

3M weather strip adheasive, it is in the red tube. It is a waterproof contact cement.
