It seems easy enuogh but I cannot get the Hella highbeams off of the grille. There are three nylon retainers that keep the headlight on the grill. It looks like I need to turn them 90 degrees but a small tab on the backside prevents this. I tried to bend the nylon tab down but it doesn't budge. Seems that I will break it if I put too much pressure on it. Two of the retainers have screws for adjusting the light and the third is a pivot and not threaded. There is nothing online and nothing in my book so any help would be much apprecited.

Are you just trying to replace a burned-out bulb? The lenses don't come out of the grille; the bulb comes out the back instead.

I need to replace the broken headlight lens. I have the replacement Hella lens and the bulb is fine. The three nylon keepers hold the three headlight anchor points to the grille.

Ah, OK. Just making sure you weren't going to a lot of unnecessary trouble. :)

Turns out you need a "mounting kit" to replace the high beam lens. Some OEM kits are still around for about $10 but good luck finding them.
