i guess if it starts right up then the checkball in the pump is bad, time for a new pump. with a bad checkball all the gas drains back to the tank, then in the morning you have to pump it all the way back to the motor... thats the way i took it.

Sorry, if the car starts well and idles after sitting all night with it's nose parked downhill then you have a bad check valve. Either in the fuel distributor or the fuel pump.
