That's to bad man. Hope your surge protectors had that "Million Dollar" warranty. Best of luck getting everything fixed/replaced.

it's about 2700 total damages in replacement costs... so now I have to wait for the Adjuster to come back.

Well I got the puters rebuilt, when inspecting the old ones, the Kitchen one had the fan on the video card blown off, the northbridge chip was in 3 pieces, so I tossed all but the disk drives, and they were salvageable.

The wifes puter, had both the north and southbridge chips blown off the board, and the video card fan was skewerd.
I tried to save the disk drives, but one was toast and the other had unrecoverable file system errors on every boot. I even tried to recertify the disk and it said.."CA-CA has occured".

The new puters are AMD quad cores 3.0ghz with 4gb ram running at 1333mhz with a 1gb gforce video card and a 500gm sata drive.
They both scoot down the information highway rather nicely.....

All the other "tronic shipt" has been replaced. so I are happier than I was a couple of weeks ago.

The adjuster is going to allow half the house to be painted, and 1/2 of the roof to be replaced. So... alls fair in love and electricity.

So unless ca-ca do occur again I should be back to a more regular poser.
