Oh, I used to do that!... many, many years ago... and on a lake... with smaller waves (unless it was blowing a hurricane; then I was riding those ocean-sized waves).

Fun stuff!! Although, your day out on the water looked to be rather cold.

we hit the water at 7am to get there before the wind kicks up. the water temp is about 63 degrees so it was quite warm actually
