**2009 CALENDAR**
An all-Cabriolet (Rabbit 'vert) 2009 calendar is in the works!
If you'd like your Cabriolet to be considered for a 2009 calendar, follow these instructions:
1) Choose 1 favorite hi-resolution picture of your Cabriolet.
2) Email your favorite hi-resolution picture of your Cabriolet to calendar@cabby-info.com (put "calendar" in the subject line).
3) If you'd like your car to be featured for a particular month, indicate which month in your email (no guarantees you'll get that month, however).
4) Optional: Include your name, year of the car, model of Cabriolet, and location (city, state and/or country).
Deadline: November 30, 2008.
If enough submissions are sent in, the calendar will be made available at cost (non-profit calendar!) in December on http://www.cafepress.com.
Remember: By submitting your pictures, you're allowing them to be published!

Re: **2009 CALENDAR**
Great idea Kammy
I'll send you my favorite picture of the Topless Bunny in the next few days.
Do you want any information about the cars?
You know, stuff like Owner's name, city/country and year of the car.

Re: **2009 CALENDAR**
Phil: I've got about 9 pictures so far. Some have posted pictures over on Vortex without emailing them or saying if the pictures posted are their submissions. I'll be contacting them and if all are official submissions, I've got enough for all 12 months... but the more the merrier!
Brian: Do you happen to have a higher resolution version of that pic?

Re: **2009 CALENDAR**
Guess this means I'm going to have to get Crabby back on all fours and get some new pics. Unfortunately, crabby has sat in the garage since Durty-Fest due to a flat tire. Now before you all give me the great "WTF!!!!", let me explain.
The tires that crabby is shod in are no longer made in the same size. I've been trying to track one down, but no joy. To add insult to injury, my air compressor motor fried on July 4th. That complicated the whole, plug it better this time and fill er up effort. Add lack of time due to work and the fact that crabby doesn't get very good fuel milage, toss in over priced fuel and what you get is Cristine and I both riding the bikes every day. At 120 miles a day between the two of us if we just worked our normal hours, the cars were costing us about $100 a week just in fuel. Not to mention, with they way I was working, many days I was doing 120 miles just by myself and working 7 days a week. So, with both bike getting over 40mpg, the cars sat.
Ok, so there's my super long, run-on sentence, triple-lindy explination. Anyone have a 230v 6hp electric motor laying around that has about a 4" shaft?

Any pic is fine, doesn't have to be new. You guys already have a bunch of good ones!Calimus wrote:Guess this means I'm going to have to get Crabby back on all fours and get some new pics.
