on the road again................

for about 2 and a half minutes.

i went to take the cab around the block today and blew the 3 way hose going from the water pump to the oil cooler, sux!

looks like it won't be on the road till next weekend.

Dude, that sucks, I hate the F'ing hose. Had one go on my rocco a few years back and man is that thing a B&*@ to replace on a 16v. Intake manifold, radiator, dip stick, ac compressor and something else is all up in the way.

It was not a fun night.

Now that I have that outta my system, car is looking real good Ben.

I considered replacing that hose two times: First time was when I replaced all of the coolant hoses; I took one look and said "@#$% that!!" Second time was when I replaced the oil cooler; I thought it'd be a tad easier with the oil cooler and oil filter out of way... I took another look and said, "You better last another 120K!!!"

Cab looks good; hopefully she'll cooperate next time so you can enjoy driving her again!

yeah, i'm not looking forward to changing that hose!
i went ahead and got all those stupid little hoses so i'll just do them all while i'm in there.

the cab looks a little different as of now.... i got bored today (i'm on vaca this week...unplanned) and started all the body work. i welded the marker light holes shut and started filling the body lines with metal, so right now she looks like ass.

new parts baby!!!

i only got these 2 hoses as the rest of them look like new.
i also got some new striker pins, mine were SHOT!

Seems to be a surplus of cold going aorund. I haven't been able to get anything done around here either. Though thats mainly due to my job.

on the road again...again. this time everything works perfectly!!!

since i had my grille out i went ahead and fixed all the broke parts on it, it's so nice not to have the grille rattling

i even had a little race with an early 90s civic on the way back from the car wash.
it was slammed on 18's had a big exhaust on it (not just a fart can) it was actually a damn nice looking civic hatchback..... to bad i spanked his ass!
