Not a Cabby, but here's the latest edition to the family

Post by Calimus »

So it's not a cabby, but honestly, I just didn't want another top to replace, or any more CIS cars to deal with. So, to replace the truck, Cristine and I have picked this up for our daughter. Before anyone thinks we are getting soft, she will be paying us back for it every month.

I introduce to you "Lost Wages" the 99' New Beetle

So, she's not perfect but thats ok. Front bumper has some paint damage and there are a few other issues that I will have to sort out. However, for $4k, I think we got a hell of a bargin.

Not too sure. Many schools all over the US have adopted the policy that Freshman may not have cars on campus. This due to all the freshman drinking & driving accident rate. So we don't know if the Univ of Chicago has this policy or not. Many of the schools here in Ga do however.

So it's a wait and see kinda thing.

Good to see that some post secondary institutions actually care about their students.

I don't think it's them caring about the student as much as it is them caring about the lost income from those students :P
