Calling All Canadian TRF Members

Well in the west anyway.

Now is the time that a lot of clubs are preparing their events for the summer.

What do you guys think if we plan to have a TRF GTG during one of these events?

Possable locations I am thinking of are:

Fahrfromhome (Sylvan Lake, AB) at the end of May;

RVDC (Regina, SK) in July;

Das Volks (Calgary, AB) Early August; and/or

End of Summer (Edmonton, AB) at the end of August.

I kind of like the Regina and Calgary locations if some of the folks from the northern US would be interested in comming.

I only wish we could make such a haul and be there for something like that.

At the very least, maybe the wife and I can get a large banner made and sent up to ya.

We have tried several times fot he calanars but no matter where I've checked, they either want the arm and the leg or you have to order so many that we would have boxes of calandars left over. And I mean boxes. We'll figure something out eventually though.

That would be cool if you and Christine were able to venture north of the 49th.

But that is one long haul!

I thought it would be fun to start GTGs for us around here.

I like the banner idea, we could sign it and send it back. As it gets used for GTGs, more and more TRF members would sign it until it had everyones signature.

Been driving my cabby for a lot of years, so I bought another (project) to keep it company.

They have been having a cold snap in Saskatchewan (-30 to -40 degrees) so I figure that Speedtek, Luke and the otheres there have probably just stayed in bed :)

That is cold!!!

When it was -40 in cold lake, the seats in my car had no give, like sitting on a block of ice.

That is a way cool idea!

As for driving up to Canada, I'm all for it... my little brat, on the other hand, is quite another story. I'm beginning to think she prefers sitting in the garage. :roll:
