We've got to sell all of our VW's

Post by kuklaki »

My lovely daughter got her letter last night-she has been accepted at a top 10 College-University of Chicago!!

She has worked her butt off for this, now it's time to seek out what kind of financial assistace she can get since we cant afford ivy-league on our salaries.

I am so proud of her !!!

Well If I still lived in that Cold assed part of the country, I would let her stay with us. But alas, and forelorn, I live in the Warm South. One Winter in the Chi-town area with the 100 below windchill will straighten her out.........:) my other Kin lives in central Ill, and southern Ill,

Congradulations on your daughters hard work, but now who are you going to get ot hide the Blemishes .................

Thats good and bad news, all in one.

Hopefully, one or two of the dubs can stay.

In that case, it is ALL good news then. :D

Now the big thing is to prepare for her departure from the "nest".

When our oldset tiapsed to Ga Sourthern...... Momma cried all the way home.... and that was only a 5 hour drive.... then throughout the next two weeks boo hoo hoo sob sob intermittantly...... I was very happy 1 down 3 to go.... :)

Then Daughter hated the place and wanted to come home... But for the next two weeks none of our cars worked... :) by the end of the 3rd week she loved the place......and we didn't see her untill Thanksgiving.... and by the end of Thanksgiving weekend Momma couldn't wait for her ass to leave :) oh the DRAMA...... so it is all relative...
