Hello and greetings from frigid Michigan USA. After determining that I had too many kids to keep driving my street bike an any first world country I picked up an 89 Cabriolet 2 summers ago; a 5 spd with roughly 65,000 miles on it. Its been a treat.

Here are two pics of my driver (picked up a parts car last summer - nice to have!) from 2 summers ago. I'm anxious for snowmageddon to be over so I can get it back on the road. It has roughly 65k miles, 5 spd, and a paint job that's acceptable until you get close. Good times. One of these days I'll fix the steering column clunk, work through the vacuum lines to get the cruise working again, and pop led lights into the dash. I keep toying with picking up some aftermarket rims and sport tires, but so far its been nice to have a driveable acceptably good conditions cheap fun to drive car. I almost hate to wreck that (READ: cheap) by making it nicer :)

I know where you are coming from. I couldn't bring my self to make any changes to my '87, so I bought the '88 and did a custom job on.

Have a look at the picture introductions thread viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2818). You can see both of my cars.

OH HELL NO... Duluth, GA. :) as in WARM southern climate, and only a few snow days this year... :)

I don't go anywhere north of Roswell GA in the Winter...
I don't even go to see my Brother in Illinois in the Winter...or summer as it may snow.
I HATE SNOW, can't stand it.

Maybe a little bit. I figure I had enough winter for this year, so right now I'm in the Caribbean. Back to the "Great White North" on the week end.
