Ok, so I know Cristine and I both have been absent for a while now. However, It doesn't mean we don't think about all of you. Just one of those, "life getting in the way" times for us. So, I haven't made any backend updates to the forums in too long and so there will be some maint coming. What I would like from you fine folks are any sugestions/ideas for functionality that might like to see here on the forums. Things like a quick reply and forums graphics that actually have something to do with Cabby's (I've been on Cristines case about this as of late anyway). The way I see it, when I grab the time to upgrade all the backend software, I might as well make some modifications while I'm there and make the forums a bit more user friendly. So lets hear what you'd like.

I like long walks in the rain. Cold Chardonnay in a mug. A warm snuggly rabbit or kitten I think you should try to correct global warming. and a sunset with the one you love ...............

Is it sad that you repsonded exactly as I thought you would? As for the global warming, well, I'm not trading my rocco for a prius, so that one is out. Brian, glad you at least repsonded with something. Now how about putting something up here that usefull

New Cabby/Rabbit 'vert banner/header would be cool. I like the quick reply idea too. I, for one, love global warming... global cooling would kill me!

The only serious thing I can think of is maybe change it so when you click on a link, the target will open in a new window.
Other than that, Global Warming, I'm not buying a Pyrus either.

The quick reply is a great idea.
How much cooler would the world be if we could shut Al Gores mouth?
Aren't we all enjoying the Cheap gas?

Ok, so far the list is as such
1. Fix the damn graphics so that ppl actually know this is a cabby site
2. Quick reply addon
3. External links open in new window ( this one might be tricky as I'm pretty sure I'll have to recode for this, but I have them same complain, so it will be well worth it if I can figure it out)
As for Al Gore, I'm not getting near his mouth.

I have a suggestion, Briano1234 has alot of experience with these VW's maybe put his writeups with pics in all in a separate area for quick reference? also link them to cabbyinfo (another GREAT site for us).

I have been playing with cabbies about as long as Ron, well since ownership of my first in 1981, a Diesel Rabbit. I don't do how-to's on things covered in others threads, but when there is woefully lacking information, I will create one. as in who has ever installed a top using Forest Kings write up? Your wish was my command: I know they link all over, but all the how-to's are in here if you search for them.
