Well, I would love take part in the cruise. However, I Am way upstate NY, I hope I will actually find others to join. It takes me about 5 hours to get to NYC. What great fun, thank you to everyone behind it.

Where at in upstate are you? I'm originally from Lancaster (just a bit outside of Buffalo).

I know where Lancaster is. We have family in that area as well, but we live in the Adirondack region of the state.
Lake Placid was the host of the 1980 winter Olympics. It only takes about 2 hours to get to Montreal , so we are truly the North Country.
We moved back here two years ago,we were living in Atlanta. Acworth to be specific. I can't believe they had so much snow. That must have been crazy. I miss Atlanta.

Man, talk about a missed connection. Acworth is just a 15min ride from where I live. The snow here this year wasn't bad, but it was bad for the area.

I never got up around the section of NY that your in and I haven't been back up to NY at all in 15 years. If you ever find yourself back down this way, be sure to post up.

I am sure to migrate that way at some point. You will be lucky because you will be sure to have a great ride with lots of company in May and the weather will most likely will be warm. You never know here, we even have had snow in May. I am going to take some pictures and post them later. >;)

I have been to upper NY, and The most Snow I can ever remember seeing at one time besides being in the Arctic, was the first week of December when I was in Syracuse for a class...

brrrrrrrrrr I hate snow.

Of course you can take part in the cruise, even if you just go by yourself. The whole point is to get out and enjoy driving your car.

Upstate NY eh! I grew up in Toronto, and lived in Trenton ON. for a few years. I used to cruise through your part of NY when I used to visit New England back in my old vanning days.

Small world. My grandfather was from Clarence Center, so that's pretty much in the middle.

I was talking to Canuker on the week end, He is really getting excited, and the cruise is still two months away!

Looks like we are going to see at least six or eight cabbys plus a couple of tag alongs including a topless Beetle.

Thanks William,

I hope it goes well. Now the weather is starting to get nice, I want to bring the project car home so I can replace the top.

Dreaming of crusing with wind in my hair!

I'm starting to get some feedback about this from folks around here.

Canucker tells me the Facebook page has over 40 members world wide.

I'm getting excited about this. 8)
