Hey Briano, just about a week ago I got 10 rooms for members of our Club right at the Park entrance. You might try them, its Best Value Inn, 639 Camp Jordan Parkway, East Ridge, Tn 423-894-6110. Rates are $49.95 per night plus tax.

MIL visit sounds like all the more reason for you not to be home. :P

I know how much it sucks man. I've had to miss the big Scirocco GTG for 7 years now due to one thing or another. :rmad:

Wow! Native-texan reminded me that this is the 19th NOT the 26th like I had written down. Soooo, I can still get there. I need to farm out the kids. The cabby is currently beheaded and not ready for prime time so I'll bring the Jetta which is fine since it's getting good mileage. But that means I need to replace the in-tank pump first and tune it up, polish the snowflakes (rough winter) wash it yada yada etc.

Got to find my sleeping bag and mat. Sigh, no time to recover from my bronchitis, just gotta get cracking'!

PS I am such a twit!

almost ready... only a few more things to do. (clean the glass, vacuum floormats) coworker's homework for the weekend was to make the aluminum adapter nipple for my oil cooler, so I have to put that on and do an oil change yet.

DId the two oil changes yesterday.....and general check-ups....Discovered an air leak from the TB gasket on the cabby last weekend....I guess I'll just take a gasket with me just in case, I really don't feel like changing it....it's idling strange but I guess not a big deal....
The hauler (jetta) is in tip-top shape, it's just durty.....
The camp gear is ready too...so í consider us ready to go!
