But it was a Karmann Ghia Vert. Spotted it tonight on Champa St in Denver. Stepped outside for a smoke break and sure enough, primer red vert Ghia zooms past.

I love Ghia convertibles. Beautiful cars. Always wanted one. I decided to get a Cabby instead because of reliability, cost, and practicality. An aircooled Veedub is a lot of work to maintain.

Well, I drove from Ga to Illinois, and back, and didn't see any cabbies.... But I did see 2 mk1 rabbits, and my nephew told me there was a 78 diesel mk1 for sale, he said it had a turbo on it, but didn't know for sure. MMMMMMMM, got a cabby shell, and turbo diesel in it? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the humanity.......................Daughter just threw a ord through the block of her HONDA...........................275K.....

Damn faulty Honda ords. Maybe you should get her a real car that uses rods. :P

SoCal, I couldn't get a good fix on the year of the Ghia. At the distance I was, details aside from the lack of roof were too hard to see.
