Sound in the Wolfie

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Sound in the Wolfie

Post by Calimus »

One of the only issues that remained after my first weekend of owning the new cabby was some dreadfully blown speakers. The head unit in the car is a Blaupunkt which has 220w peak power (I was impressed). So tonight I got home an set to correcting the issue.

Cristine and I picked a nice matched set of Polk Audio 5 1/4 for the front and 4x6 for the rears. Got everything slapped in tonight and damn does it make a diference. It's still lacking a sub and amp but for now I can at least hear something else besides the wind. Even with a sub I don't think I'm going to get the sound that I have in Cristines cabby but thats ok. So long as I have the Rocco, I'll be just fine.
