Score!! (well kind of)

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Score!! (well kind of)

Post by kuklaki »

The hubby went and picked up a near mint set of leather seats for the Rocco from a boneyard today, got both fronts and rear and a TON of other 16V stuff, all for about $80 total !!!

Though the real score was for his car, I fall heir to his old 16V seats. They'll need to be reupholstered, but then again my stock ones do as well so no setback there. I was planning on saving up for my interior anyways. Too bad I cant get the stock cloth for mine anymore. But a nice grey tweed will do just fine.

BTW, I know that the 16V seat slide right in, but how well do you sit in the car with the swap? They are a little lower than the cabby seats, and I am only 5'6, no problem with comfort on these?

my ex has a 16v GTI and she has to have her recaros as high as they go and almost as far forward as possible (5foot even)
