Help me with my 80's theme?

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Help me with my 80's theme?

Post by fredges »

I'm working on making my car look like it's 1987 all over again. I'm even considering an "Eddie Van Halen" stripe job across one corner of the hood/quarter panel... Gimme your ideas! Here's where I've started...

There is always the clasic "paint splashes" and the custom bent radio antenna.

Ha ha! Yeah! The paint splashes! Anything I do has to be removable, so that would work in vinyl! not sure I'd bend the stock antenna, though, but I love that idea too!... :O

Good plan, to keep things removable. I like that.

Don't forget to post pictures.

Hey, if you've got the original tape deck, they you gotta keep the cassette holder in there! My car came with a crappy deck so I upgraded the stereo, being as minimally invasive as possible. I even kept the old parts I took out! :D The speakers were original and absolutely toasted, but they still (kinda) worked! Amazing! I need to find a pink polo shirt and white cardigan to tie around my neck, and I'll rock the Rayban wayfarers, too! :D
