Bent Cabby

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

All you have to do is advance the timing a wee bit, and the Autos scooooooot.

It is true that the early automatics were much more robust than the later.

You can use an automatic (VW010) from the early 80's to around 93' in a
Vanagon, I have done it and it's still going strong in Dad's van. Some
modifications are required but it's minimal.

I still don't want one in anything I'm trying to get performance from,
except maybe a 928. I have played with those fairly extensively and I
have to admit that they are impressive.

97 Golf, black (youngest daughter)
98 Beetle, red
