Finished with the curbing.....

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Finished with the curbing.....

Well, since the curbing happened I figured that I would catch you up.

The top was replaced, frame and all the pad was swapped of the parts cabby see the other thread. That was a pain in the ass, as I took too long in deciding to remove the frame from the parts car and to try to straighten the frame on the blue cab but it is done.

Yesterday morning, I swapped out the spindle and hub from the parts car to blue, found that the rotor was slightly bent you couldn't see it except when using a square and when I got the hub off, the bearing was looser than it should of been. Rehung the old parts on the parts cab. I swapped both rotors off as the blue cab had non-vented rotors, and the parts cab had new but rusty vented rotors and I didn't want un-even braking.

The Brakes will take a bit to wear in. Then I decided to wash and wax the beastie.

The new rim came in so I had a tire mounted to it and all told I was totally done by 11:30am

The alignment still feels zoned in but I will have it checked tomorrow.

Todays schedule is to run to the auto-paint store and pick up a can of color, then I will sand the door on the parts cabby paint it and then swap it onto my blue cabby easier than taking the dent out. :)

So it may be ready in time for helen or paluza.. or both.......... :)

Yes as matter of fact, I have the Luck o'the Irish...everything I touch turns to fertilizer of the bovine variety.
