not sure where to post this...but i need friends to listen

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

That pic explains a lot. Just as Kammy said, he doesnt strike me as someone who would appreciate the restoration process or anything that didnt just roll off the assembly line.

I'll keep other comments to myself, as I dont know the guy personally, but damn, that pic is just screaming for a photoshop......

You have to remember that Factory trained these days means that they are good on 2003 and newer... The older ones just amaze them...

Wow, I can relate. I occasionally get together with the local group of Dubbers and my car is totally ignored. Although there are numerous peeps there that were old school owners they've all got Mk3 and up rides now and all fussing about what coilovers to put on or wheels etc.

Don't worry , you got judged unfairly and it happens. But I have it on good authority that St. Peter drives a top down Rabbit on the good days and up thre they're ALL good days!
