so i finally got around to doing this http://dana.ucc.nau.edu/~kaw5/CISidle.htm
first i adjusted the throttle valve stop screw, seems it was used as the idle adjustment.
then i adjusted the idle using the RIGHT idle screw.
set the timing, it was off a little.
then i hooked up the dwell meter... it was at 84.7!!!! so i removed the little plug in the fuel dizzy, pain in the ass!
set the adjustment so it was going between 45-46. reset the idle, checked the dwell again and all was good. blipped the throttle a few times and checked everything once more. perfect!
all i have to say is WOW! doing that solved alot of little annoying start-up problems. and man it gets down the road now, catches 2nd HARD and long!
its not offcially on the road yet, just a few short around the block test drives....the neighbors love me
