Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Yeah I was thinking about bumping the compression down by stacking head gaskets and running a turbo with the CIS and an MSD Boost timing master (the cheapest way), but I may just go for a late model 1.8T swap instead. It'll be more expensive, but far more reliable. The only downside with the swap route is it will change Taz's character permanently. A late model engine will be fairly smooth and refined, unlike this snarling, slobbering beast that's in here now.
so, things have been slow in Taz's world lately, thought I'd share the latest updates.

No worries, it gave me the time to provide some much needed care, that and the outer CV blew on Monday. (which was the final straw and the omen I took to remove the wheels and sell them to the guy.....up til then I had been humming and hawwing about it)
Pulled the hood off and painted the underside flat black today (it was looking crappy before). While it was off I decided I wanted to use one of the limiting prop rods I've seen other guys use at car shows (to keep the hoof halfway against the lifts) and I had the perfect accesory to go with the whole aircraft theme. Built it out of an old piece of bar stock aluminum I had kicking around and attached a small aircraft pin and "remove before flight" landing gear tag. (it's always good to have some of this old junk kicking around...LOL)
Yes as matter of fact, I have the Luck o'the Irish...everything I touch turns to fertilizer of the bovine variety. You can lead a user to a link, but you can't make him Click....
