50's Retro Ruffrod cab project...

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Golden carb...

Post by Stampede »

Been doing some serious cleaning and painting on my carb the last couple of days. I opted for the golden color from the Olds Rocket engines! I think it blends right in there with the 50's theme. 8)

Think it came out kinda cool, either you like it or you don't!

Now you gotta paint the valve cover green and make a Rocket cover to route the wires under! Just text it "1/2 Rocket" or sumsuch.
"Bottle-Rocket" maybe... go "Faux-mobile"! :D

I love carbs! Makes me all funny inside like when your stuck on top of the ferris wheel!

The contrasting color...

Post by Stampede »

Got the engine bay painted today, and man it sure did turn out red! The contrasting red color to the matte black was just as I hoped for. Now it's time for some black details, and putting the engine back in.

Here's a few pics...
