Snowing in Atlanta in December?

Did you see something that was supposed to be a car at one time and now looks like the frankenstein monster? If so take some pics of that fugly thing and post them here. This also goes for any other "rice" you may find littering the streets or shows.

Yes, I have a 30 year old snow shovel from when I lived in the Great White North.

Snow a few days ago, and then ice today. All praise goes to the quattro system in the Audi. Well, that and the 19x9 wheels that came with it. I couldn't force wheelspin today. The car is a beast, but it never slipped an inch.

We've had snow in Seattle already. But it's a La Niña year, and that makes our weather weird. Seems like just about every year is either La Niña or El Niño, anymore...dunno what's up with that. Weather just gets weirder every year.

It's just a normal winter here in Calgary.

The strange part here was the city actually plowed my street. Mind you it was two weeks after the snow storm and left a frozen wall of hard packed snow across everyone's driveway. :?

Oh well that's the price for living in the Great White North.

Yours is definitely a mofo of a driveway, but I was screwing around on some hills that our FWD cars spin like mad on when it just barely rains.

However, here we are, about to maybe get a few inches and the audi is down due to the PS rack giving up the ghost on Monday. Knew it was going to happen, just hoped it was gonna hang on a little longer. Maybe I'll get lucky and we'll get some more white crap in Feb, then I can play around in it.

Well I measured a 1 1/2 inches. Mu daughter in Suwanee got 2 1/2...
that is only about 6 miles north of me.

Now I went out side 3:23am and it is sleeting....

I hate snow/sleet/freezing rain......and it isn't the cold months yet.

Just decided to check the Driveway, and my rock salt and kitty litter are holding up, but the main road appears to be solid ice. What was wet is now frozen So we have to wait for the heat wave.....

Snow that doesn't stick isn't a bad thing at all. All of our snow was gone by Tuesday which allowed me to get the audi repairs done. It's nice to have it back one the road since today we've gone from fluffy white crap falling from the sky to a monsoon. Flash flood warnings are today's highlight.

What are you folks complaining about. Here the weather is simple.

We have 10 months of winter and two months of bad snowmobiling! :D
