Interesting "fix"

Did you see something that was supposed to be a car at one time and now looks like the frankenstein monster? If so take some pics of that fugly thing and post them here. This also goes for any other "rice" you may find littering the streets or shows.

That's good advice, although it's even better if you can open the device up and blow it out with compressed air.

If you drop something electronic into salt water, you should dunk it in fresh water as soon as possible, to try to get as much salt out as possible. Do this before the device dries out. It's long-term corrosion that does the most damage.
