Which Way is Up?

Post by Calimus »

Thought maybe it was time for a bit of a check in. Ok, so yea, it's way over due and I'll be honest, I hate doing these. Same old thing, working my ass off, Cristine is working her ass off and we don't even know which way is up right now. :banghead:

I hate it because we don't have time to do what we want to do here, or anywhere for that matter. Aside from the TDI and the Beetle, we haven't been able to touch any of the other VW's or even our motorcycles. I think I've been on my bike exactly one time this year.

At any rate, we certainly haven't forgotten about any of you and we are sorry we have been absentee admins for so long. We appreciate everyone coming here and sharing their storied and knowledge. We also have no intention of letting the doors shut on this place, so don't ever worry about that. Just keep coming and posting and I assure you, someday, things will calm down for us to a point were we can get back in here and hang out with the cool kids again.

Thanks to all of you for keeping things going.

No VW's, what happened to the cabby? Good to see you on though Sir, please fill us in.

And no, no doors closing here. I'll sell blood to pay for the hosting before I'd let that happen.

We have been so busy with running this business I had zero time for the cabby, so instead of just letting it sit (worst thing to do to a car) I decided pass it on to someone who would finish it and treat it right.

Sold the 1.8t golf to my first van and then traded the caddy on a 2nd van...I miss my dubs :(

It really has been non-stop, who ever said running your own business was easy is crazy!
I almost miss punching a time clock....maybe not lol!

So now, because i have to have haulers, all I have are vans and somehow got all GM vans :screwy:
The fullsize never gives me any troubles but the 2 ventures are nothing but problems, worst vehicle EVER!

But I'm keeping an eye out for an aircooled beetle, I want something old school this time around!

William, I totally understand. I've been crazy busy too.

Ben, good to hear from you too.
I've been wondering what you have been up to.

Started your own business, that's awesome man. What kind is it? Oh, and you need "Free Candy" on the side of that van, or at the very least, some candy color paint and a panther centric mural.

Good to see ya back on here posting
