don't want to mention it, cause it might date me, but i remember that all the MacD's looked like that. And i can remember 10 cent burgers and fries. There tweren't no playgrounds, big mac's, egg anything, and they served the cokes froom a hires rootbeer barrel. you could walk around ad see them cook the burgers, and there wasn't any inside seating.
Damn I miss them days. Of course my daddys new car was a 57 bel-aire coupe.
lolololol

I remember when Happy Meals were $.99 and they came in these really cool plastic containers -- had the entire McDonald's train for the longest time along with Uncle Jesse's truck from the Dukes of Hazzard, not to mention the alien space ships, LOL!
My Grandma had a book autographed and given to her by one of the McD people that tells the story of the first "Golden Arches" in California . She gave it to me and I have no idea where I put it
McD trivia for ya: the first drive-thru McDonald's was built in 1975 right here in AZ (po-dunk Sierra Vista to be exact). And get this, the first drive-thru hamburger joint in California was none other than In-N-Out; first one built in 1948 .
Briano: my dad a '57 Bel-Air as well (he sold it a loooooong time ago, which he now regrets); black with a white roof and he even painted the underside gloss black . But my dad ate at a McD's only once in his lifetime.
Sorry for going OT... Now back to our regularly scheduled thread
