Just got the cabby back from paint on wednesday i think it turned out awesome! shaved the side mouldings, side markers and badges.

Jdub!!! That looks phat bro!!! I wanted to do the exact same thing with the mouldings especially when I popped off the rear panel trim only to find some stupid dimples all the way back.
Is it me or did anyone else who removed their moulding find dimples in the rear panel?
Anyway, either I get some cheap moulding up in there or do what you did. Depends on the cash flow too, a lot of body work is pretty $$! Well at least here in So. Cal.

Thanks for the compliinents, I think it came out really good. So smooth now :D I want to lower it but my biggest concern is how bumpy its going to get I lowered my golf and the ride was horrible. How low can I go with 16s before i get tire rub?

yeah definetly doing something with the tail lights. I was thinking M3 style tails with a set of smoked crosshairs for the headlights

Yeah I think the clear ones would also look good. Right now its a toss up between the M3's and the clear/white, I've always like how the M3's looked though. Plus cops are jerks around here for clear lenses and I know I will get busted a million times for it.

look for the pic os Heinz (my red cabby)
there is a pic on here with my 17's and it was pretty low and i never rubbed
