Southern California 87 Wolfsburg
Here is my 87 Wolfsburg 5 weeks after I rescued it , and on its way to stock restoration. (auto trans. leak fixed, new tranny mount, interior and exterior detailed). Every weekend is maintenance ( fuel filter, new dist. cap, rotor , wires ,plugs much more to come.)

Re: Southern California 87 Wolfsburg
Yes I have decided to go stock this time, I converted my 85 Cabby back in 2000 to quad lights, Euro bumpers etc. This time I'll stay stock. Got your reply also on my other posting on engines, our two kids are all still in the K to 5 grade level, so no big education expense yet. Here in Inland Southern Cal , its green lawns etc, but notice the picture, it is almost desert like on the outskirts of the housing subdivisions.kuklaki wrote:Now there is something you don't read everyday! Here is the 87 Wolfsburg on a typical Socal subdivision, notice the equestrian nature trail.

That almost looks like my car, however I changed the interior and it is now a Polo setup

Re: Southern California 87 Wolfsburg
Very nice car.
Yes I love the stock too, (I also have an '87) and the only change is the OEM quad headlight grille (meant for a GTI).
Loks great!
