My new girl

Post by ravenfox »

Well these are all pictures of her. I had her delivered from South Carolina and all thats happened in the past week we have had her is to push her in the back yard and take the front grill and lights out. I am at a complete loss at what I am going to do to her front end.

Ravenfox, I think you have a car with a LOT of potential there.

From what I see in your pictures, your car was in excellent condition until the accident that caused the damage happened.

Brian is definitly the guy to field these questions. I see he's already posted a few pics of what he delt with. However, since I've actually seen the car with the repairs, I can factually state that he did a fantastic job.

So any questions can go to him. Calalta is also another fine source for this kind of work.

damn briano, looks like she has your cab!

it looks like a pretty straight forward fix tho. hell, if ya had a little mig welder you could fix it yourself in about a weekend or two.

when i changed out rad supports to single rounds in my caddy it took about 3 weekends... but i didn't use a new support, i cut it off a parts cab i had, so that added about weekend. :D
If you can't beat them, drop the top and pimp by 'em!

Ain't that the truth, if I took the tear drops off the blue on and mailed her a set of Wolfsburg emblems... and then Gilded another set of Karmann and Vdub Identical.... :)

Now if she tells me it has a white interior... :)

On a side note the tension cables on the side need to be remade. I have a good how to on this forum how to re-make them if they are broke.....

Other than that nothing that a 5lb min-sledge and a couple hours of smacking won't fix.. Just pretend it is your husband and that he said something derogatory about your mother... then it should be a 5 minute job :)
